My brother recently rode his bicycle (yes, he pedaled!) from St. Louis, Missouri to South Dakota. You can read about his adventure here. I wanted to commemorate this ride with his birthday card. I was so excited to see Kittie’s scene challenge and new this was the perfect opportunity!
I made “Mt. Rushmore” by finding some pics of it on the internet. I looked for a face stamp that was approximately the correct size (enter Fella). I masked off Fella’s body and stamped just his face (using my stamp-a-majig) in the approximate locations that the faces were carved on Mt. Rushmore. I colored my Mt. in shades of grey and surrounded the base with trees.
Stamps: Pink Cat Studio Lily & Billy Sweetheart Stamps, Stamping Bella Grillafella, Rubbernecker Kittie Kit Cause a Scene The Moose is Loose #2, Birthday Whimsy
Paper: GP110, Basic Black, Basic Grey
Ink: Certainly Celery, Old Olive, Wild Wasabi, Always Artichoke, Whisper White, Basic Black, Ranger Distress Ink Broken China, Momento Tuxedo Black
Accessories: Copics, White Gel Pen, Fine Black Marker, Stamp-a-Majig
Enjoy!
