Artful INKables April Hop!

Welcome to the Artful INKables blog hop! We are celebrating the fabulous month of April with some amazing April flowers the Artful INKables way!

If you haven’t come here from Tanya’s Blog, be sure to hop on over to the Artful INKables Blog, you don’t want to miss anything for today’s hop!

My favorite Artful INKables set is Plant Prints. I love to look at pieces of art to get inspiration for ways to use this set. Today I was inspired by this piece. I used the emboss resist technique on the flowers and leaves. I masked and sponged the panels in much the same way I sponged a glow in THIS AI tutorial. I drug my stamp pad across the right panel from the top down and bottom up to give that cool effect. I am thinking now that maybe I should have done in this piece in some more spring-like colors.....maybe next time.

Make sure to comment on every one's blog, because one lucky commenter will win a $10.00 gift certificate to spend at the Artful INKables store! Please leave your comments by Friday, April 23rd, 12 midnight Eastern Standard Time, one lucky winner will be chosen on Saturday, April 24th.

Thank you for participating in today’s blog hop, now hop on over to JOY’s fabulous blog. I am sure you will love everything you see today!
