Tropical Gift Bag & a Tip

I love to make my own DP and this gorgeous flower from the Artful Inkables Paradise Island set was perfect for this! When it comes to wrapping gifts, I am a "last minute lucy" so its prolly a good idea for me to have a few of these around!

HERE's the link to the instructions for how to create the gift bag.

All I did to create this DP was stamp the flower in black right in the center, color that one with Copics, and randomly stamp the flower on the rest of the piece with various coordinating inks.

And now for the TIP: I am often preparing my DT pieces days or even weeks ahead of when you see them. I often "hunker down" in my stamp area for hours and complete many projects in one sitting. By the time I get upstairs to write up the the blog posting (which may be days later....), I have completely forgotten what supplies I used. I thought about putting them in a basket until I post but then if I need to use the same item twice its a problem. I thought about writing it all down but that takes time. I think I finally have a simple solution - Just take a pic of all the supplies with the finished piece! Here's an example of the pic I took for this piece:

Stamps: Artful Inkables Paradise Island
Paper: Pretty in Pink, Rose Red
Ink: Momento Tuxedo Black, Whisper White, Regal Rose, Rose Red
Accessories: Copics, Ribbon from Pink Hedgehog, Round Tab Punch, Scallop Edge Punch, ¼” circle Punch, Score-tape

Enjoy!
