Bee Happy

Time for another All That Scraps Guest Designer spotlight! Whoo Hoo! You can read the All That Scraps posting HERE. I saw the little bee accessory stamp included here with Darby and I decided to carry the bee theme to the extreme.

I stamped the bee on the yellow layer to make my own DP. This layer was also sponged all around the edges with 2 darker colors of yellow ink and finished with an edge punch. Darby was colored with Copics (sticking to my black and yellow bee theme) and I sponged a little ground for her to stand on. Finally, I stamped some sentiments from All Women to make the sentiment here. I used the B from "Birthday", the e's from "celebrate" and the word "happy". To make sure the letters stood out from the white background, I sponged a little around the edges of each piece before attaching them in a whimsical pattern. The idea to do the sentiment like this came from that list I've been keeping of things I never do but wanna try!
