OCCC Basic Grey at the Beach
This was created for the Our Creative Corner Challenge to use Basic Grey paper. This was a challenge for me because I own very little DP and only 5 sheets of Basic Grey. It was hard to let myself cut into it.
The main image was PIF'd to me by NewStampinAddict (thanks Alison!)
I purposely left that lower right corner a little bare to better showcase the paper.
LESSON LEARNED: This time I picked my colors/paper first THEN picked and image. I usually pick my image first. This played out very smoothly so I'll be trying this theory about "picking paper then image" again.
STAY TUNED - Tomorrow for my featured cupcake stamper card & also my first tutorial! I'll also soon be posting how I sponge the "sky" around my images. I've really been hating white paper lately!
Stamps: Inkadinkadoo Sandcastle, Autumn Leaves Swirls V I, Alphabits
Paper: Basic Grey Archiaic Ancient, Soft Sky, Chocolate Chip
Ink: Chocolate Chip, Soft Sky
Accessories: Ribbon from Pink Hedge Hog, 1/4" circle punch, pop dots, prismacolor pencils & baby oil
Enjoy,
Michelle B.
