SC241 My First Brayered Sky

I was lucky enough to attend Michelle Zindorf's brayer classes this past weekend and had to give them a try for today's challenge. It turned out a little darker than I would have liked but not too shabby!

I brayered the grass and sky, then stamped the mailboxes, and cut the center panel out next. I colored a seperate set of mailboxes and paperpieced them in. The small flowers were stamped in black and then colored with Prismacolor pencils. I had to extend the length of the posts just a bit.

Stamps: Papertrey Ink Mailbox Greetings
Paper: Whisper White, Chocolate Chip
Ink: Baja Breeze, Pacific Point, Not Quite Navy, Old Olive, Always Artichoke, Whisper White, Momento Tuxedo Black
Accessories: Copics, Prismacolor Pencils, Nesties, fine black marker (to extend the posts on the mailboxes)

Enjoy!
