FS132 CAS Ladybug Tilda

I have to work today - I'm just waiting for the call that its time to come in so I thought I'd do a Clean and Simple style card for Today's Featured Stamper, StampMuse. Congrats to StampMuse! I choose this ladybug card as my inspiration. I figure this is like a 2 stage scene: 1) StampMuse showed the ladybug happily crawling across the grass 2) I showed him after Tilda scooped him up! Don't worry, she won't hurt him! Ha!

I colored Tilda with Copics and cut her out. I cut out the rectangle for my main image panel. Then I used my Copic airbrush system to create the sky. I also airbrushed the ground in too. I didn't like the ground so I drew in the sprigs of grass (just a flip of the wrist) and then I was happy. I stamped Tilda onto the scene and then glued my colored Tilda on top. This allowed me to not worry about cutting off those tiny little ladybug antenae. Click here for my tricks on cutting images out.

I was really wishing I had some red ribbon with black polka dots. So I finally got the idea to add a strip of red cardstock with black punched out dots. I find I am most creative when I DON'T have something! But its sooo fun to shop!

Stamps: Magnolia Tilda with Ladybug
Paper: Papertrey White, GP 110, Basic Black, Real Red
Ink: Riding Hood Red (sponging on the dotted strip), Momento Tuxedo Black
Accessories: Copics, Copic Airbrush System, White Prismacolor pencil (highlights), ¼” circle punch

Enjoy!
